Marissa, Joaquin, Jax and Hayden
SETS DESIGNER/BACKSTAGE TECHNICIAN
Joaquin Harris
Joaquin is our studio’s Backstage Technician and Set Designer. He has built or constructed almost every surface the dancers will touch. He’s in charge of the music, lights, backdrops, life size props and any other effects you will see in the show. We keep him busy around here as our personal handyman. He has been doing construction professionally since age 12. He served as BYU’s ballroom department technician. Being behind the scenes on tour with all the props, effects, music, etc that’s where he learned a lot about show business in particular. While Marissa taught dance in the public schools, Joaquin built all her props. It’s always been a passion and talent of his. We look forward to having him as part of the team behind the scenes!
